Ceiling & Wall Fixer – Perth Global Skills Network is looking for experienced Ceiling & Wall Fixers for full-time roles across Perth. If you know your way around metal framing, sheeting, suspended ceilings and detailed plaster finishes, this is proper hands-on work with solid hours and long-term opportunity. What you’ll be doing Building metal stud framing and installing suspended ceiling systems Sheeting and fixing to metal frames Applying fibrous plaster, patching, repairs and decorative work Reading and working from plans Surface prep: cleaning, smoothing and setting up for finishes Restoring and matching existing plasterwork in older buildings Quality checking your own work and keeping standards high Working safely and following site procedures What you need Proven experience as a Ceiling & Wall Fixer or Fibrous Plasterer Confidence with hand tools and plastering techniques Ability to read plans Strong attention to detail and clean workmanship Physically fit, comfortable with repetitive and overhead work Able to work in different environments and weather What type of person suits this role Turns up, gets on with the job, takes pride in their work Works well with crews and communicates directly and respectfully Safe, reliable, consistent Keen to work hard and build a solid reputation on site
