About the Facility: A small, community-based NFP aged care residence with a rich 35 year history Well-loved by residents and their families, creating a warm, homely atmosphere The facility has recently undergone significant upgrades (flooring, rooms, bathrooms) They are operating at 97% capacity Staff include RN on every shift, ENs, PCA, Lifestyle Coordinator, and admin staff responsible for rostering The Role: As Facility Manager, you will have sole clinical responsibility, with the CEO overseeing the clinical aspects and overall management of the facility. You will build and lead a well-staffed team, empowering them to foster a positive culture rooted in warmth, leadership, and community values. Your responsibilities will include: Leading and managing all operational aspects of the facility, including staffing, rostering (working with the admin team), and resident care Building a strong, motivated team, promoting staff ownership and involvement Overseeing compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and regulatory requirements Supporting staff development and creating a positive work environment Working closely with the CEO and Board to align facility goals and community needs Managing budgets, finance, admin, and reception operations Ensuring high standards of care, safety, and resident satisfaction Ideal Candidate: Minimum 2-3 years' experience in aged care Facility Management AHPRA Registration essential Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop teams Warm, emotionally intelligent leader with excellent communication skills Strong operational and financial acumen Ability to foster a positive, inclusive culture that values staff and resident engagement Comfortable with rostering, budgets, and regulatory compliance Willing to relocate to the seaside Why Join This Team?
