About the Role As a Maintenance Electrician , you’ll play a key role in reducing downtime, driving preventative maintenance, and supporting installation and commissioning activities. You’ll work with complex, highly regulated manufacturing machinery and be part of a rotating roster (days and afternoons), with some weekend work required. Your key responsibilities: Carry out daily maintenance across site operations Maintain and service plant, equipment and site services Complete routine preventive maintenance tasks safely and effectively Deliver fast, efficient electrical breakdown maintenance to maximise uptime Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults Recommend improvements to maintenance practices and plant performance Support current and future engineering projects Ensure all electrical work meets safety, housekeeping, statutory and GMP requirements Collaborate with operators, engineering and QA teams to resolve issues What You’ll Bring To succeed in this role, you’ll have: Electrical Trade Qualification (dual trade highly advantageous) SA Electrician registration Experience in maintenance within a manufacturing/industrial environment Strong skills in troubleshooting complex production equipment Experience with control circuits, automation and PLCs (desirable) Effective fault-finding and diagnostic capabilities Understanding of work planning and scheduling Computer literacy with CMMS exposure (preferred) Excellent communication skills Strong knowledge of WHS regulations and safe work practices Ability to work independently and as part of a team Why You’ll Love Working With Us At Mayne Pharma, you’ll thrive in a supportive and collaborative environment where your contributions matter.
