We are looking for a dynamic, organised and engaging individual to join our Human Resources team as a HR Business Partner, supporting our MEL1 Fulfillment Center. The HR Business Partner is a hands-on role that provides full cycle Human Resources support to our MEL1 team. The role is critical in executing our people initiatives, providing great internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement. The role will be based on-site working Monday - Friday. Key job responsibilities What you will be doing: • Implement HR initiatives to drive and maintain an overall culture of excellent employee relations and communication • Coaching and mentoring of leaders from across the Fulfillment Center teams • Proactive gathering of data from appropriate sources to drive decision making • Maintain an emphasis on continuous improvement and best practices to be shared with other Fulfillment Center teams • Collaborate effectively across an number of internal and external teams including Finance, Payroll, Legal • Support in developing innovative, user-friendly shift models - 3 years of human resource business partner or blend of operations and HR experience - Experience as a human resource business partner or a blend of operations and HR - Experience supporting hourly employee client group - Experience working with and protecting confidential and sensitive HR information - Master's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related field - Experience in human resources at companies supporting 250-500 or more associates - Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Payroll Systems or HRIS Acknowledgement of country: In the spirit of reconciliation Amazon acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.
