We're looking for an experienced and dynamic Cellar Door Manager to lead our visitor experience, drive sales growth, and champion the McCaffrey's brand. About the Role As the Cellar Door Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our busy cellar door, ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable and authentic tasting experience. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in customer-facing environments, has strong wine knowledge, and can motivate a small team to deliver exceptional service. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the Cellar Door team to deliver outstanding guest experiences Conduct premium wine tastings, tours and private group experiences Drive direct-to-consumer (DTC) sales, wine club sign-ups and repeat visitation Oversee booking management, reservations and visitor flow Maintain high presentation standards across all tasting spaces Coordinate stock control, ordering and cellar door inventory Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports and KPIs Manage rostering, staff training and performance Collaborate with marketing on promotions, events and social media content Ensure compliance with RSA and health & safety obligations Skills & Experience Previous experience in a cellar door, hospitality or wine tourism management role Strong wine knowledge (WSET qualification highly regarded) Proven ability to lead, train and motivate a small team Excellent communication and customer engagement skills Sales-focused mindset with experience meeting revenue targets Strong organisational and administrative abilities Ability to work weekends and peak periods RSA certification required What We Offer Competitive salary wine perks Opportunity to work with an established boutique estate Supportive, family-run environment Chance to shape and grow the cellar door experience This is a full time role offering a salary of between $75-80K
