About the Role Due to a new intake in our Creative Arts program at SCCP, we are recruiting an Arts Mentor to support participants to engage in meaningful, creative, and skills-building activities. This position blends creative arts mentoring with general support worker duties , offering a dynamic role for someone who is passionate, adaptable, and able to work independently. You will: Deliver 1:1 and small-group creative arts supports at SCCP Maitland Provide general support work 1–2 days per week (non-arts related) at SCCP Support participants in community settings where required Work independently while maintaining professional boundaries and quality support delivery Follow tailored support plans and promote participant choice and control Desired Skills and Experience About You We’re seeking someone who: Actively practices creative arts (e.g., visual art, painting, drawing, textiles, ceramics, mixed media, etc.) Has experience supporting people with disability or in community-based programs Can work confidently and independently Is flexible to deliver both arts and general support worker duties Holds high standards of professionalism, safety, and participant engagement Requirements Current NDIS Worker Screening Check Working with Children Check (WWCC) Current First Aid & CPR Valid Driver’s Licence Ability to work 24 hours per week consistently Why Join Us?
