About the role This position is responsible for for the assessment of a wide range of complex landscape and arboricultural components of the Development Application process. This position is also responsible for the provision of pre-lodgement development advice, tree permit application assessment and management of a range of customer service requests. On a daily basis you will: Assess complex landscape and arboricultural components of Development Applications Attend Pre-lodgement meetings and provide landscape and arboricultural advice for these Assess tree permit applications Manage a range of customer service requests relating to private trees About You The successful candidate must have a minimum 5 years previous experience in the assessment of complex landscape/arboriculture matters. You will also bring: International Tree Risk Assessment accreditation such as the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ) or Quantified Tree Risk Assessment (QTRA) Demonstrated ability to communicate, negotiate, build relationships, and influence others with an engaging approach and technique A detailed understanding of the NSW planning framework relevant to Tree Protection and Development Assessment Qualifications Tertiary qualifications in Landscape Architecture and a Diploma of Arboriculture (AQF Level 5) Current motor vehicle driver license What’s on offer We are offering an attractive remuneration from $121,367.67 to $133,651.15 plus 12% superannuation.
