Your opportunity: Urban Utilities has an opportunity in a newly shaped Maintenance Scheduler role within our Maintenance Services group. This team is part of our wider Operations and Maintenance portfolio, Dedicated to the safe and efficient delivery of water services through the operation and maintenance of our water, wastewater and resource recovery infrastructure. This team is vital to Urban Utilities’ purpose to “Enrich Quality of Life,” ensuring the safety of our people and customers, protecting public health and the environment, meeting customer needs, and minimising long-term service costs. The Maintenance Scheduler is responsible for Coordinate and schedule planned maintenance activities for water and wastewater assets. Develop, maintain, and optimise detailed maintenance schedules to support operational efficiency. Work closely with planning, operations, and field teams to minimise service disruptions. Support compliance with regulatory, safety, and reliability standards. Ensure effective allocation of resources across maintenance activities. Prioritise maintenance work based on operational risk, safety requirements, and asset criticality About you: Are you currently working in a maintenance scheduling role or frontline repair and maintenance position and looking for the next big step in your career? Supporting the supply of clean safe drinking water to 1.5 million residents and 31,000 commercial customers could be it. Relevant trade qualifications in a maintenance discipline, water utility repair and maintenance experience highly regarded Understanding of water and/or wastewater infrastructure, including pumps, pipelines, valves, and treatment systems. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in civil network repairs, construction planning or maintenance planning Strong understanding of regulatory obligations regarding water utilities Proven capability in engaging effectively with internal and external stakeholders Ability to work in an evolving environment where priorities can shift to support business needs and the provision of services. Familiarity with CMMS systems (e.g., Ellipse, SAP, or similar) At UU, we celebrate diversity.
