Full Time Permanent, 2 x vacancies, Afternoon or Night Shift Work for a well-known, Australian-owned company Attractive salary package plus shift loading The Role Our Smithfield site in Western Sydney, manufactures a range of more than 60 fruit juice, fruit drink and water ice products. The site currently manufactures approximately 110 million litres of finished goods every year including The Juice Brothers, Daily Juice, Mildura and Zooper Dooper. We are currently seeking two experienced Maintenance Electricians to join our team permanently and full-time. These roles will cover the Afternoon Shift (2 PM–10 PM, Mon–Fri) and the Night Shift (10 PM–6 AM, Sun–Thurs). We offer competitive salary packages with 15% shift loading for afternoons and 30% for nights, plus occasional overtime. As a Maintenance Electrician, you’ll provide electrical support across the site, responding to breakdowns, performing preventative maintenance, and driving continuous improvement. You’ll work to eliminate defects and ensure equipment reliability while upholding our quality, safety, and environmental compliance standards. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment and systems for emergency repairs Perform preventative maintenance inspections and enhance productivity by effectively resolving electrical faults. Coach peers and operations team members on equipment use and maintenance Ensure all work complies with engineering and food safety standards Contribute to site initiatives, including Continuous Improvement and a Safety-First Culture About You Fully licensed electrician with experience in a manufacturing environment Skilled in structured problem-solving and root cause analysis Proficient in PLC fault finding (Allen Bradley, Siemens, SCADA) Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities Able to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and P&IDs Bega Group Story Bega Group is home to many trusted and iconic food and beverage brands.
