About the Role We’re hiring! We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Maintenance Lead to join our team. In this hands-on role, you’ll take ownership of the maintenance, safety, and operational performance of all plant, equipment, vehicles, and facilities across the site—driving real impact from day one. Reporting to the Automated DC Manager, your areas of accountability will include but not be limited to: Safety and risk: Monitor, manage and support safety and risk procedures for all plant, equipment, machinery, vehicles and facilities. Preventive, Planned and General maintenance: Ensure all plant, equipment, machinery, vehicles and facilities are inspected and maintained proactively with a view to reduce or minimise service disruption from unplanned outages. Contractor and stakeholder management: Manage contractors and stakeholders for plant, equipment, machinery, vehicles and facilities. Continuous improvement: Lead, support and participate in continuous improvement projects and programs of work. Skills Development: Participate in planned training including skill development for maintenance activities. This role will be based across our Truganina and Altona sites until the full relocation to Truganina is completed in 2026. This is a day‑shift role, Monday to Friday; however, due to the nature of the position, some weekend and after‑hours work may be required. About you To be successful in this role, you will bring: A background in Mechanical/ Electrical and/or maintenance and facilities Strong technical understanding of basic mechanics for plant, equipment, machinery, vehicles and facilities Demonstrated experience and understanding of contractor management and maintenance planning Demonstrated capability to manage expenses in line with budgets Knowledge of Warehouse manual handling equipment Organised, proactive and self-driven Ability to perform handyman tasks as required A valid forklift licence is desirable but not essential.
