Temporary Payroll Officer - Unanderra Duration: One month (November to Christmas) Hours: Monday to Friday, three to four hours per day We are seeking a Temporary Payroll Officer to provide leave cover for a one-month period. This role is ideal for someone with payroll experience looking for short-term work in a supportive office environment. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review Roster Variance Reports - Compile daily roster data and identify any discrepancies. Ensure all variances are accurately recorded and reported to the relevant payroll team members. This task is expected to take approximately thirty to forty-five minutes each day. Employee Hours to My Payroll System Variance Calculation - Reconcile employee hours and entitlements within the My Payroll system, ensuring all adjustments are correct following the variance report. Provide clear documentation for any discrepancies. This task is expected to take approximately thirty minutes. Process Life Choices Centre of Health - Accurately update payroll records based on Life Choices Centre of Health instructions as received via email. Verify that all entries comply with organisational procedures. This task is expected to take approximately sixty minutes. Handle Centre of Health Tasks - Follow up and process additional Centre of Health tasks as communicated through payroll emails. Ensure timely and accurate completion to maintain payroll integrity. This task is expected to take approximately thirty minutes. General Payroll Support - Assist with other ad hoc payroll duties as required, providing cover for team members during leave periods. Maintain confidentiality and accuracy at all times.
