Terminal Planning Leadership: Drive master planning and operational design for container terminals, cruise facilities, and marinas. Infrastructure Development: Oversee feasibility studies, capacity analysis, and design for complex maritime infrastructure projects. Strategic Growth: Collaborate with Business Unit Leaders and International Practice Leaders to expand client networks and market share in Australia and APAC. Business Development: Lead proposals, assemble technical teams, and craft winning strategies for major port and terminal projects. Market Intelligence: Develop valuation systems for marinas and create marine market analysis tools. Due Diligence: Conduct assessments for container terminals, marinas, and cruise facilities in partnership with global Waterfront Destination and Cruise teams. Program Management: Provide design oversight, cost estimating, contracting, and quality assurance. Global Collaboration: Work closely with teams in Europe, North America, and Oceania on integrated solutions. Travel: Occasional international travel required. Qualifications: Chartered Engineer ( CPEng or equivalent) Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or related discipline) 15 years in container terminal planning, port and maritime infrastructure development Proven expertise in master planning , operational design, and capital project delivery Strong track record in business development and client relationship management Experience across container terminals, bulk/general cargo, naval/defense infrastructure, and/or offshore wind Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills All new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check in compliance with NIST 800-171 Working conditions: Work is primarily performed in an office or client-site environment, with occasional travel required across Australia and internationally.
