About the role This role contributes to the success of the City by delivering health promotion outcomes, organising and managing Council’s public immunisation services and programs, and providing administrative support to the Environmental Health Group. Role accountabilities include: Coordinating Council’s immunisation program in line with the Public Health Act 1997 . Developing and implementing health promotion strategies and partnerships. Managing immunisation booking systems and reporting to the Department of Health. Monitoring and evaluating health promotion projects and delivering educational presentations. Providing non-medical immunisation advice to the public and supporting compliance initiatives. You will have: A Diploma or Bachelor degree in Community Health, Health Promotion, Health Education or similar. Current First Aid, CPR and Basic Emergency Life Support certifications. Registration to Work with Vulnerable People and a current driver licence. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience in health promotion and program coordination. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and use health management software effectively.
