Australian Venue Co. is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Management Accounting team. You’ll play a key role in delivering accurate month-end reporting, analysing venue performance, and partnering with stakeholders across the business to drive better decision-making. What You’ll Do Month-End Reporting Prepare monthly venue P&Ls Review and reconcile F&B sales and COGS Analyse labour costs and operating expenses Prepare accruals and investigate variances Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders Weekly Performance Analysis Review weekly P&Ls against budget Identify favourable/unfavourable variances Highlight risks, trends, and improvement areas Business Partnering Build strong relationships across finance, venues and department heads Contribute to team meetings and improvement initiatives Balance Sheet Reconciliations Prepare monthly reconciliations Investigate and resolve material reconciling items What You’ll Bring Strong numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability Great communication skills Ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities High integrity, reliability, and a team-first mindset Qualifications Tertiary qualification in Finance/Accounting Part CA/CPA preferred 3 years’ experience in a large or mid-tier firm or similar industry role Confident with accounting systems intermediate Excel Why AVC?
