12-month Fixed term contract - 4 hours per week for a dedicated Senior Lecturer (Clinical Education) Contribute to Teaching and Learning and applying extensive Clinical experience Base Salary Academic Level C $156,103 (Pro rata) plus 17% Superannuation About the opportunity We are seeking a Senior Lecturer (Clinical Education) with substantial expertise in opioid treatment who will make a significant contribution to teaching and providing educational materials. The successful candidate will draw on their clinical experience to develop and deliver contemporary, relevant and evidence based clinical education. This role supports the improvement and innovation of workforce development for the Opioid Treatment Program Your key responsibilities will be to: work closely with learners, specialists, clinical educators, academic staff and relevant NSW ministry of health authorities. lead the development and implementation of innovative clinical education innovation in opioid treatment, including curriculum design and review, ensuring alignment with relevant accreditation requirements applying clinical experience and expertise to support best practice teaching coordinate and deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences that meet the university’s expectations and standards for education, including the continuing education program for medical practitioners. Review opioid treatment educational materials to enhance learning resources provide mentoring and guidance to other clinical educators, and manage and lead clinical teaching teams and projects develop and maintain productive links between the University, healthcare professionals and services to enhance education quality and workforce capability in opioid treatment. About you bring significant experience supervising and mentoring others, supporting the development of clinical educators and students acknowledged as playing a major role in the profession, contributing meaningfully to clinical education and practice have extensive experience in clinical teaching and learning, including working in simulated and real clinical settings demonstrate a strong background in education design and practice, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement apply contemporary clinical teaching practices informed by current professional standards and evidence-based approaches hold postgraduate qualifications and a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
