National Sales Manager - New Business Talon Recruitment Solutions is excited to partner with Summit Fleet Leasing and Management a respected national fleet management provider known for its partnership-driven approach, strong ethical foundations and commitment to delivering exceptional customer outcomes. Off the back of an outstanding period of growth, the business is increasing its focus and capability on new customer acquisition and now requires a National Sales Manager to take charge of their next phase of momentum. The Role Reporting directly to the executive leadership team, you'll take ownership of national new business performance across corporate tool-of-trade and fleet management programs. Your objectives will be drive new business activity, elevate sales team capability and ensure mentoring and continual development of sales process and the new business sales team. You'll coach and lead a multi-state team, ensuring activity levels, pipeline management and sales cadence remain tight and targeted. You'll also shape the quality of bids, negotiations, CRM adoption, and end-to-end onboarding while adopting and promoting the company's values and customer-first approach. And you won't be doing it alone-this role comes with serious firepower behind it, an excellent leadership team is already in the business and you will have plenty of resources available to you to quickly understand the business from people who have been in this role before. Ensure high-quality proposals, presentations and tender submissions Lead commercial negotiations with a strong focus on profitability and risk mitigation Champion CRM discipline, data quality and reporting consistency Optimize new customer onboarding and ensure seamless handover to customer service teams Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and enhanced customer experience Represent the business at industry events and customer engagements What is experience are we looking for? Strong sector experience across fleet leasing, automotive finance or related industries such as asset finance and equipment finance.
