To style, clean, dress, and prep each performer’s wig so that our beloved characters are ready to play their part and creating a magical encounter for our guests. Key Responsibilities Unleash your hairdressing magic and transform performers into beloved characters! You’ll be: • Using your specialist skills to care for and prepare wigs to a specific “look’ and approved style for cast, by way of styling, washing, and combing into up-styles • Managing all paperwork including daily wig register and wig correspondence book • Being responsible for maintaining a consistent look of all character’s wigs at all times • Being able to relieve the distribution staff by serving on the counter which includes receiving all used wigs for the day, writing up dry cleaning etc. • Become familiar with all shows and characters so as to have a better understanding of the right “look” of the characters you will be styling • Create, design and adjust wigs that cannot be purchased from stock to match style guides • Work with and train performers to care for and put on their own wigs. • Manage stock levels and update the wig stock book in order that wigs are replaced and ordered when necessary What We’re Looking For Bring your backstage brilliance one curl at a time. You’ll bring: • Fully trained and certified in all aspects of hairdressing.
