Working as an integral part of our LDS team, this role plays a vital part in strengthening our Client Value Proposition by delivering our wide range of end-to-end surveying, mapping, geospatial and sub-surface services. As with each role at MNG, the Survey Draftsperson is key to maintaining our fantastic workplace culture and strong MNG brand through positive interactions with colleagues, clients and stakeholders alike. Your responsibilities will include preparing and managing spatial data, generating lot statistics, creating shape files for deliverables, and ensuring the accuracy of survey-related plans and overlays. You'll also handle land tenure searches, manage job instructions for quality assurance, and contribute to the continuous improvement of workflows. To succeed, you'll be confident using tools such as Microsoft Office, MNG's internal systems, and GIS/CAD platforms. A commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy, data integrity, and workplace safety is essential. What you bring to the table We're looking for someone with: At least 2 years' previous experience within a similar role or related discipline. Tertiary qualifications in Surveying or Cartography, or a related discipline. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, ability to organise and prioritise tasks, work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines. Demonstrated level of communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to create effective working relationships and contribute to the team in a proactive and positive manner.
