Job Description We are seeking a passionate and skilled Commis Chef to join our vibrant Kitchen team at Oaks Broome Hotel. In this full-time role, you will assist in day-to-day kitchen operations across our Restaurant, Conferences and Events, and Room Service facilities. You will report directly to the Executive Chef, contributing to the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items in line with recipes and presentation standards. Support the smooth operation of the kitchen during service across the restaurant, events, and room service. Maintain kitchen hygiene standards and comply with HACCP and OH&S guidelines. Assist in the training, coaching, and mentoring of junior kitchen staff. Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service delivery and a positive work environment. Adapt to various shifts, including weekends and special events as required.
