We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Slaughter Floor Manager to lead our team at Cannon Hill on the afternoon shif t. This is a key leadership role overseeing all slaughter floor operations — including yards, offal (upper and lower), co-products, and chillers. About the Role: As the Slaughter Floor Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring efficient production, safety, and quality outcomes every day. You’ll lead a high-performing team and drive continuous improvement across all aspects of our operations. Key Responsibilities: Lead and develop production teams across the slaughter floor, yards, offal, and co-products areas Manage production performance, costs, yields, and resource planning Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, AQIS, MSA, Halal, and Australian Standards Champion workplace safety, wellbeing, and animal welfare Oversee downtime reporting, maintenance coordination, and process improvement initiatives Collaborate with QA, HR, Maintenance, and Livestock teams to deliver operational excellence Identify and implement new business and process improvement opportunities About You: You’re a confident and capable leader with a passion for efficiency, quality, and people development. You thrive in a fast-paced production environment and have the drive to deliver results safely and effectively. You’ll bring: Proven experience in meat processing or slaughter floor operations Strong leadership and people management skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities A commitment to safety, animal welfare, and compliance Working knowledge of HACCP, WHS, and Australian meat industry standards Why ACC?
