Description In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Hands on work – using RF scanners to transact goods dispatch Using hand powered trolleys 80% of the time Using forklifts 20% of the time Hands on work – using RF scanners to transact goods receipt Using hand powered trolleys 80% of the time Using forklifts 20% of the time Hands on work creating consignments and booking transport 80% keyboard data entry 20% hands on moving boxed 100% using forklift or PIV to move parts between workshops and warehouse Participate in training and safety meetings General cleaning activity – 30 mins a day Daily inventory management tasks To be successful in this role, you will need the following: A current High Risk Forklift licence (preferable but not essential) WA driver’s licence The flexibility to work reasonable overtime as required Previous warehousing/stores experience preferred but not essential – on the job training available to suitable applicants Previous experience in a customer facing role as part of a team would be beneficial Ability to work unsupervised and commit to undertaking all work safely and efficiently Intermediate computer skills (MS Office – intermediate Excel) and can learn new systems and processes quickly Responsibilities Competencies: WA driver’s licence The flexibility to work reasonable overtime as required Previous warehousing/stores experience preferred but not essential – on the job training available to suitable applicants Previous experience in a customer facing role as part of a team would be beneficial Ability to work unsupervised and commit to undertaking all work safely and efficiently Intermediate computer skills (MS Office – intermediate Excel) and can learn new systems and processes quickly Education, Licenses, Certifications: High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. Experience: Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
