MBM is looking for a talented Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join our team and help shape how we communicate our brand and expertise to the world. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or an early-career professional who thrives on writing compelling copy across various formats—from web articles and social media to newsletters and award submissions. Key Responsibilities: Identify and create written content, such as website news articles, thought leadership pieces, the internal newsletter, and assist with industry reports to highlight MBM’s expertise, projects, and services. Update and maintain content on MBM’s website, including website upkeep for MBM’s employees, projects, news, and general administration. Prepare and implement social media campaigns that align with marketing and business development objectives, including campaign reporting via digital analytical systems including Monster Insights and Google Analytics. Create and update marketing collateral including brochures, capability statements, presentations, reports, and promotional material in Canva, in collaboration with the senior graphic designer Write awards submissions for the business with guidance from the Communications Manager and ensure all interstate offices are represented in available awards programs Create and update speaker profiles for identified conferences and presentations Maintain the team's engagement schedule and the marketing inbox Responsibility for administration functions including: Act as the backup for the Administration Assistant in covering reception duties such as: Greet and welcome clients face to face, including making tea and coffee Answer and forward telephone calls in a professional, timely and efficient manner Book and manage meeting rooms as requested, including catering and maintaining/restoring cleanliness after meetings Skills And Experiences Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in communications or a related field. 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within marketing. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. A strong writer who can tailor tone and style for different platforms and audiences. Detail-oriented and organised, with an eye for consistency and clarity. Tech-savvy, ideally with experience in WordPress, Canva, or other digital tools (training available). Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Desirable Qualities: A proactive approach with a keen eye for detail. Excellent interpersonal skills, being well-spoken and presentable. Ability to continuously improve processes and outcomes.
