In this role, you will assist tradespeople, forklift operation, operate machinery such as a punching machine, press brake and handle raw materials like steel and metal. The role requires someone physically fit, capable of lifting up to 20 kg, and holding an NSW unrestricted driver's Licence. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity based on performance. Key Responsibilities: Assisting with the operation and maintenance of industrial machinery, including punching machine, angle & pipe rolling machine and press brake Operating a counterbalance forklift to transport steel, metal and other raw materials within the workshop Moving wide loads with forklift such as pipes Supporting tradespeople with basic assembly, fabrication and general production tasks Handling duties that require lifting and moving materials up to 20 kg General workshop duties, including cleaning, equipment maintenance, and ensuring the workspace is organised Adhering to workplace safety standards and procedures Requirements: Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident NSW unrestricted driver's Licence is essential Proven experience working in a steel/metal industry Current forklift licence with practical experience operating counterbalance forklift Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment ideally steel/metal Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 20 kgs.
