Your Opportunity: As an Allied Health Assistant working in Residential Aged Care, you’ll play a vital role in supporting older people to stay active, independent, and connected to their communities. Guided by our clinicians and through our award-winning Plena Care Pathway, you’ll help deliver reablement-focused programs that make a real difference in residents’ lives. You’ll be involved in a range of areas, including: Supporting mobility and functional programs Assisting with restorative therapy Facilitating falls prevention and active ageing group sessions Assisting with pressure care and pain management plans Collaborating with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and care staff to deliver resident-centred support Whether you’re helping with one-on-one therapy programs or encouraging residents in group activities, your work will be purpose-driven and deeply rewarding. We’re looking for: Qualified Allied Health Assistants (Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance, or equivalent experience). Current Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy students seeking hands-on experience in aged care are encouraged to apply. Australian working rights. Willingness to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening and a National Police Check. A current driver’s licence and willingness to travel within a dedicated region.
