Description The Role: The Health & Physical Education Teacher will deliver high-quality Health and Physical Education (HPE) programs aligned with the Victorian Curriculum F–6, fostering students’ knowledge, understanding, and skills to lead healthy, safe, and active lives. Additionally, the teacher will facilitate and coach APS sporting programs, promoting participation, teamwork, and sportsmanship in line with APS Sport values. This is a part-time (0.7FTE) position and based across the Kew and Donvale campuses for the 2026 academic year. The Person: To be successful in this position, you will have: Bachelor of Education (Primary/Secondary) or equivalent with HPE specialisation APS coaching experience or willingness to undertake APS coaching accreditation First Aid and CPR certification Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to Carey’s values of care, respect and growth Strong organisational and time management skills Ability to demonstrate initiative Collaborative team member Commitment to ongoing professional Development and Leadership growth A valid Victorian Institute Teaching (VIT) registration is a requirement of employment in this position.
