Right now, we have an exciting full-time, six-month fixed-term position available to cover a secondment, a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in a supportive and dynamic team. The Position Provide high quality evidence based physiotherapy assessments and treatments for all patients/clients, including the provision of hydrotherapy treatments where applicable. Using patient-centred care work with the patient to develop appropriate physiotherapy treatment goals and plans for all patients/clients. Ensure that direct working relationships are established and maintained with multi-disciplinary colleagues and internal/external customers including active participation in the multidisciplinary team meetings Use of Evidence Based Patient treatment outcome measures and use of Patient feedback satisfaction measures and quality assurance activities Participate in the physiotherapy department weekend roster if required. Assist with education and training programs for students as requested Responsible for completing appropriate administrative duties arising from each session instructed. This requires liaison with the office administration team, reporting of statistical data and completion of clinical documentation. Attend staff meetings and present at professional development sessions as required. Delegate to other staff members where appropriate e.g. Allied Health Assistants, or students. Accepts responsibility for maintaining and strengthening own professional knowledge and expertise. Maintenance of own continuing professional development portfolio as required. To be successful in this role, you will hold current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA) and have experience providing high-quality physiotherapy services across relevant clinical settings, including the delivery of hydrotherapy treatments . You will also demonstrate strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills , with the ability to build positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and other health professionals. A proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team will be key to your success in this role.
