About the role As Manager Cleansing Services, you will lead and inspire a team while driving strategic and operational excellence in cleansing services, ensuring the community enjoys safe, and clean public spaces. On a daily basis you will: Oversee cleansing operations across public assets including stormwater pits, footpaths, amenities, and council bins Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team, fostering innovation and service excellence Manage illegal dumping removal Develop and implement KPIs, budgets, and strategic plans aligned with Council’s Operational Plan Engage with stakeholders and provide expert advice on cleansing initiatives About You You’re a confident and capable people leader who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment. You will also bring: Extensive experience in asset or waste management with a proven track record of strategic delivery Strong leadership and team development capabilities across diverse operational teams Expertise in managing contractors and enforcing illegal dumping legislation High-level communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills Proven ability to manage complex projects and drive continuous improvement Qualifications Degree in Environmental Science, Operations Management, or a related discipline. Current NSW Class C Driver’s Licence What’s on offer This is a permanent opportunity. We are offering an attractive remuneration from $ 153,911.34 to $ $170,614.86 plus 12% superannuation. Participation in Council’s Motor Vehicle Scheme will be discussed with the successful applicant.
