Position Summary The Store Supervisor is responsible for receiving and inspecting all incoming stock delivered to the hotel and its storage facilities. This role ensures that all goods are accurately checked, verified, and cross-referenced against purchase orders and invoices, promptly identifying and reporting any discrepancies. The Role Maintain the exceptional standards of a five-star luxury setting, ensuring professionalism in all tasks. Maintaining the security of stock, stock control and quality assurance. Receive all deliveries with high attention to detail and ensure that items match to purchase orders and are in good condition. Perform store keeping role in line with hotel policies and procedures. Ensure timely input of new supplies into procurement system. Manage internal requisitions and deliveries for all departments. Prepare and submit monthly reports on stock and inventory holding. Maintaining the stores accordance with Workplace, Health and Safety guidelines and regulations. Support other departments, assist with training in Purchase Plus, and take on other tasks as directed. Ensure that storage and dock areas are kept tidy, organized, and presentable at all times. Adhere the First In, First Out (FIFO) system for inventory management. Talent Profile Tertiary Education in Business/Management or related. Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role at a luxury hotel/resort. Competent Computing Skills and familiar with procurement, inventory management systems. High level of interpersonal skills and ability to multitask. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
