Description The Head of Facilities will work across all departments to ensure all facilities are maintained and presented to the highest possible standards and in a safe and environmentally responsible way. They will ensure customer satisfaction in the physical environments is maximised supporting our customer first philosophy. A key aspect of this position is the setup of systems and work practices across all Mildura Aquatic Facilities ensuring operational excellence is maintained. Focus areas for this position include (but are not limited to): Seasonal Pool Management Aquatic Supervision Asset Management Facility Presentation and Maintenance Risk, Safety and Environmental Management Supervision and lead a large team Skills And Experiences ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: • Experience in aquatic and asset management desirable, but not essential • Tertiary qualifications desirable, not essential • Pool Lifeguard Certification (or willing to obtain) • First Aid and CPR (or willing to obtain) PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES: • Highly organised • Disciplined to manage the varied components to this role • Committed to fostering a safe environment for staff and customers • Creative, inspiring, energetic and motivational • Focused on the customer • Strong ability to manage and also work autonomously • Understands/enjoys the leisure industry and motivated to serve Aligned Leisure • The ability to make strategic decisions as well as execute operational requirements At Aligned Leisure, culture is paramount, and we are committed to developing our people in a supportive environment.
