Kinetic are looking for a Bus Aide to provide assistance to School Bus drivers in the operation of School Bus Services (am/pm splits), ensuring efficient running and passenger safety. A Bus Aide may operate school services, charters, and special events. You’ll work split shifts (morning and afternoon), supporting students on their school bus journeys, ensuring their safety, comfort, and wellbeing. Key responsibilities Assist in the safe boarding and exiting of students, including those who are ambulant or use wheelchairs Supervise student behaviour to maintain a safe and respectful environment on board Attend to individual student needs, including liaising with the driver about comfort factors such as heating and cooling Engage positively with students, demonstrating a caring and supportive attitude throughout the journey Foster a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere by initiating appropriate conversation and building rapport with students Why Kinetic?
