You will be working within an inclusive and supportive team of Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Personal Carers, General Practitioners, Allied Health professionals, residents and their families to deliver high quality food and dining experiences to the residents at Bloom. About you: You are a qualified Chef with a broad range of experience and skills within the fine dining industry through to the dynamic aged care environment. Your leadership in managing a food services team, developing menu plans, managing a budget and developing and implementing food safety plans of the highest quality will be valued . You have an ongoing learning and continuous improvement philosophy, and you have a person-centred approach. You are enthusiastic and dedicated to making a difference. To be considered for this opportunity, you are required to meet the following criteria: Current trade and food safety supervisor qualifications Thorough knowledge of catering principles and their application Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a catering team Well-developed interpersonal communication skills Demonstrated ability to work within OH&S and continuous improvement environment You have created your own menus to a set budget and understand the importance of costings and have good relationships with industry suppliers to set you up for success Ability to manage textured and modified diets according to dietician and clinical requirements A positive can-do attitude Police Check within 12 months Benefits & Work Culture: As a purpose led, not-for-profit organisation, our staff’s health and wellbeing are important to us.
