We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Technology and Systems Advisor to join our Defence and National Security (DNS) team. Reporting to the Director Systems Implementation and Audit, this role will play a pivotal part in designing and delivering secure, scalable, and compliant technology solutions that enable interoperability and alignment of enterprise systems with organisational objectives. Key Responsibilities Design and deliver scalable and secure enterprise solution architectures that align with organisational goals. Develop architecture artefacts including high-level designs, standards, and system mappings. Oversee governance frameworks and risk management processes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Enable integration and information flow across key corporate systems such as HRIS, payroll, and finance to support effective planning and reporting. Provide expert advice on strategic technical matters and emerging challenges. Collaborate across business areas to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in system performance and interoperability. Promote ethical behaviour and alignment with Aspen Medical’s Social Purpose and B Corp principles. About You You will bring a strong background in solution architecture, governance, and enterprise systems, with the ability to translate complex business needs into effective technology solutions. Essential Criteria Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline. Demonstrated experience in solution architecture, governance, or related technical domains. Proven track record in implementing and optimising corporate systems. Strong understanding of governance frameworks, risk management, and regulatory compliance. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to work autonomously and deliver innovative outcomes in complex environments. Desirable Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, SABSA, or CISSP. Experience with cloud platforms, cybersecurity frameworks, and enterprise system integration. Background working with or supporting the Australian Defence Force or similar operational environments. Familiarity with emerging technologies and their application to enterprise governance.
