Your Next Employer TA Field Estates is one of Australia’s most respected family-owned wool producers – a business built on over a century of practical know-how and steady investment. The company owns and operates six properties spanning roughly 75,000ha, running high-performing Merino and beef enterprises alongside select cropping. Wyvern Station is the cornerstone of that portfolio: 55,000 ha on the Murrumbidgee River between Griffith and Hay. It’s recognised nationally for its Merino genetics, disciplined management, and contribution to the wider industry through training programs and scholarships such as the Peter Westblade initiative. The property is well-developed with modern infrastructure - a 12-stand U-board shearing shed, new A/C shearers’ quarters, laneways, full water reticulation and quality housing. You’ll be stepping into an operation that values professionalism, practical leadership and continuity - where good systems, good people and good stock are all equally important. You’ll have a capable 2IC and a committed team around you – four Jillaroos, a cook and part-time gardener, plus seasonal contractors as needed.
