About the role We are seeking skilled and experienced underground Fitters (Breakdown and Drill Fitters) to join our team of skilled tradesmen in our Raisebore Division. What we are looking for Demonstrated experience working on underground hard rock mobile plant equipment Relevant trade qualifications; Strong fault finding & diagnostic skills; Valid manual drivers licence; Able to pass a National Police Check and Pre Employment Medical; Current First Aid/CPR certificate or ability to get prior to commencement; A positive work ethic and attitude in keeping with Redpath's motto, Consider it done - safely . Responsibilities carry out scheduled maintenance and breakdown repairs to a fleet of large mobile plant; fault finding repairing and/or replacing components as required; maintain plant and equipment, ensuring compliance with regulations and site requirements; keep a clean & tidy workshop; file documents daily; fill out and sign maintenance workorders daily; conduct oil sampling as required; attend and contribute to pre-start meetings, toolbox talks, safety meetings, roster change and shift change meetings when required; complete all pre start checks prior to use of equipment; conduct safe stops and JSA’s as required; only perform tasks you are trained in, competent in and authorised to perform the tasks; Action critical defects on equipment immediately as advised by your supervisor; Record all additional parts used on repairs and any additional work identified on work orders; Qualifications heavy duty diesel fitter/mechanic trade qualification; experience working with underground mining equipment, particularly heavy mobile and shotcrete equipment; auto electrical knowledge; valid manual drivers licence; current CPR certificate (HLTCPR201A - Perform CPR); working at heights SOA; strong fault finding & diagnostic skills;
