5We are seeking an experienced Primary Health Nurse for a three-month contract based in Central Queensland , with the potential for extension until 30 June. This role focuses on Rheumatic Heart Disease (RHD) prevention and education , sexual health , and community engagement initiatives. You will play a key role in promoting health and wellbeing across the community, including planning and delivering outreach activities such as BBQ days and information sessions. Travel to surrounding clinics may be required. Essential Requirements: Proven experience working within an Aboriginal Medical Service (AMS) Strong understanding of RHD prevention , sexual health programs , and primary health care Demonstrated community engagement and health promotion skills AHPRA & Full working rights.
