Our Architecture Advisors bridge the gap between business imperatives and SAP’s innovation strategy, helping customers turn vision into action. As a Customer Advisory Architect Advisor (AA), you’ll engage with senior business and technology leaders to help shape modernisation and transformation strategies and guide them on their journey to becoming intelligent enterprises. You will focus on aligning business outcomes to technology strategy and helping customers realise measurable value through SAP’s cloud innovations. In this role, you will focus on the following key areas: Enterprise Strategy & Value Alignment Partner with C-suite and senior stakeholders to understand strategic priorities, organisational challenges, and desired outcomes. Assess the customer’s business model and enterprise landscape to identify value opportunities and transformation pathways. Lead value-led conversations that clearly articulate why change, why now, and why SAP. Architecture & Solution Vision Shape the SAP Architecture Vision that aligns to business objectives and future-state ambitions. Define business and solution architectures, ensuring alignment of capabilities, process, data, and technology. Position cloud-first, scalable, standard architectures and guide customers towards simplified, future-ready solution patterns. Transformation Roadmap & Governance Develop target state architectures and transformation roadmaps that connect strategy to executable steps. Provide ongoing roadmap guidance and governance to ensure priorities remain aligned as needs evolve. Maintain a living roadmap, adjusting scope, phasing, and adoption pathways as the organisation progresses. Demand Shaping & Value Expansion Inspire customers through thought leadership on SAP’s innovation agenda across AI, data, cloud, and industry capabilities. Support development of business cases that demonstrate measurable impact. Identify opportunities to expand solution adoption by linking business value to the broader SAP portfolio. Strategic Alignment Across SAP & Partners Work closely with SAP Account Teams and Partner ecosystem to define and execute account and stakeholder engagement strategy and support the sales cycles throughout the Customer Value Journey as an integral member of the SAP account team. Collaborate with SAP Solution, Industry, and Value Advisory teams to deliver a unified and compelling narrative. Align with implementation partners to ensure confidence in delivery approaches and transformation outcomes. Provide structured customer feedback to SAP product leadership to help shape roadmap direction. What you bring Executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to engage credibly with senior stakeholders, frame conversations around business outcomes, and simplify complex concepts without relying on technical jargon. Broad, high-level understanding of the SAP Business Suite portfolio, including ERP, key Line-of-Business solutions (e.g., HCM, Supply Chain), and SAP Business Technology Platform — with the ability to position how SAP capabilities support strategy and value, rather than deep configuration or product detail. Experience shaping or advising on enterprise transformation, digital strategy, or business architecture in large or complex organisations (e.g., consulting, advisory, presales, strategy, business architecture, or enterprise architecture roles). Ability to lead through influence, working effectively across multiple stakeholder groups to drive alignment, decisions, and momentum — including customer executives, internal SAP teams, and partners. Strong facilitation and orchestration skills, able to bring together diverse perspectives and guide teams toward shared outcomes, while navigating ambiguity and differing priorities. Industry insight and thought leadership, with the ability to contextualise SAP’s capabilities and value in real business terms relevant to the customer’s sector. A collaborative mindset, grounded in curiosity, listening, and co-creation — focused on helping customers achieve meaningful and sustainable outcomes. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or related discipline; MBA or equivalent experience is advantageous but not required. Architecture or strategy certifications (e.g., TOGAF, SAP EA) are valued but not essential. Fluency in English; any other language is an asset.
