Welder – Ongoing Casual Role | $45 per hour Super Location: Goulburn Pay Rate: $40 per hour Super Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30 am – 3:00 pm (overtime available) About the Role Local Workforce Hire has been engaged to recruit experienced Welders to join our client’s growing manufacturing and fabrication team. You’ll be part of a hands-on crew that produces high-quality metal structures and components for commercial and industrial projects. We are seeking candidates who take pride in their work, possess solid welding experience, and are eager to contribute to a team that values reliability, safety, and exceptional craftsmanship. Key Responsibilities MIG and TIG welding on mild steel and stainless steel components Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings Measuring, cutting, grinding, and preparing materials for welds Performing quality checks to ensure strong, clean welds Operating hand and power tools safely Assisting with general fabrication and assembly as required What We’re Looking For Proven welding experience (trade qualification preferred but not essential) Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings Good attention to detail and commitment to quality Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude White Card and PPE (or willingness to obtain) What We Offer $40 per hour Super Consistent Monday to Friday work with overtime available Safe and supportive team environment Weekly pay and direct contact with our Canberra-based team Opportunity for ongoing or full-time placement for the right person How to Apply If you’re an experienced welder looking for stable work and fair pay, we’d love to hear from you.
