The Company Primary Dental is one of Australia's largest Dental Support Organisations, supporting a nationwide network of over 180 independent dentists in 60 dental centres across Australia. The Role We are looking for a Casual or Full Time Dental Receptionist (with some Dental Assistant duties in our busy periods) to join our dental team in Brookvale , where you will provide front desk support, exceptional patient care and chairside dental assistance, in a variety of dental procedures. This is a busy, fast-paced role where you will be given the opportunity to further develop your dental and administrative skills with the guidance of our supportive team. The Responsibilities Greeting and welcoming patients in a professional and friendly manner Managing incoming phone calls, patient enquiries, and appointment scheduling Processing payments, handling Medicare and health fund claims Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records in the practice management system Dental for Windows Coordinating patient recalls and follow-up appointments Advising patients on post-treatment care Providing all aspects of chairside dental assistance to our Dentists in busy periods Performing some instrument reprocessing and sterilisation procedures Fostering professional working relationships with team members, patients, and medical staff Maintaining compliance with organisational policies and procedures The Successful Candidate Have previous dental reception experience and chairside support preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A positive, can-do attitude and ability to multitask Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and a professional manner Certificate III in Dental Assisting and/or three or more years’ dental experience preferred Have availability on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday The Benefits 20% off Dental treatments for you and your family Fitness Passport – discounted gym access 24/7 Employee Assistance Program Health insurance discounts Thorough training and ongoing career development opportunities Friendly and supportive dental and management team Team incentives Uniforms provided The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be part of an outstanding work environment in a purpose and values-driven company that invests in its people through training, development, and internal promotion.
