About the Role: Based out of the Angle Park depot, this role involves more than just driving. Each day brings the opportunity to connect with the community, collecting donations of furniture, clothing, toys, and other essentials that make a meaningful impact on those in need. You'll be the friendly face representing the organization and showing appreciation to the donors who support the cause. Typically, you'll be paired with another driver, working together to lift, transport, and deliver donated items safely. Key Responsibilities: Pick up a variety of donations from homes and businesses, handling each item with care and ensuring timely pickups. Represent the organisation with respect and gratitude, fostering positive experiences with every donor. Lift, carry, and secure furniture and other items with the assistance of a partner, ensuring each item reaches its destination in great condition. Efficiently load and unload the truck to maximize space and keep items organized. Accurately record all pickups and deliveries, ensuring donation records are kept in order.
