Position Purpose The Learning & Development Coordinator supports the Learning and development team and our Avant people by coordinating, delivering, and evaluating learning programs that build the capability of staff across the organisation. The role ensures that learning is easy to find and access, is well organised and suited to their needs and all mandatory compliance training requirements are delivered reliably and able to be reported on. Additionally learning will be aligned with strategic initiatives, leadership competency frameworks, and organisational values. Employment Type: 12 month contract Key Responsibilities Program Coordination & Delivery Schedule, coordinate and administer in-person, online or hybrid learning events (e.g. inductions, compliance training, leadership and capability programs). Manage administration and operational aspects for training: booking meeting rooms, arranging facilitators, preparing materials, managing enrolments and follow-up. Maintain learning calendars and ensure communication to staff about upcoming opportunities. Learning Systems & Administration Maintain and support Learning Management System (LMS) functions: upload new content, track completions, generate reports. Ensure mandatory training and induction programs are delivered to required compliance standards. Monitor enrolment, attendance, feedback and pre/post training requirements. Needs Analysis & Content Support Assist with training needs analysis to identify capability gaps in line with Avant leadership competencies or organisation priorities. Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop or source learning content that is relevant, engaging and inclusive. Help evaluate effectiveness of training by collecting feedback and recommending improvements. Stakeholder & Vendor Management Serve as a point of contact for employees seeking learning/development support or information. Liaise with external training providers and vendors for delivery of courses or services. Work with internal business units / People & Culture to align learning offerings with changing organisational goals and policies. Communication & Reporting Communicate L&D program offerings, changes, and updates across the organisation. Generate reports on learning metrics (participation, satisfaction, outcomes) for leadership / senior management. Support development of newsletters or updates to promote learning culture. Continuous Improvement & Compliance Monitor regulatory, legislative and policy requirements related to learning, safety, capability and compliance. Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems or workflows for learning delivery. To be successful you will have: Tertiary qualification (or equivalent) in Education, Human Resources, Adult Learning, Business or related discipline. Prior experience (at least 1-2 years) in a learning, training or HR support/coordination role. Strong communication skills, both written and oral. High proficiency with digital tools: Microsoft Office suite, LMS or similar learning technologies.
