Job Responsibilities: Fabricate, assemble, and repair various upholstered products. Select and cut fabrics, foams, and other materials according to specifications. Measure, cut, and sew fabrics, ensuring precision and attention to detail. Install padding, springs, and upholstery items with care to achieve a professional finish. Examine and repair damaged upholstery, ensuring quality standards are met. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and clean work areas regularly. Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to meet production goals. Adhere to safety protocols and health regulations throughout the manufacturing process. Essential Qualifications: Proven experience as an Upholsterer or similar role. Knowledge of upholstery techniques, materials, and tools. Strong sewing skills, with an ability to operate industrial sewing machines. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Attention to detail and a passion for quality workmanship. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Good physical stamina and manual dexterity. Desired Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in upholstery or a related field. Experience in custom upholstery work is highly advantageous. Familiarity with different types of upholstery materials and their appropriate uses. Salary & Benefits: The annual salary for this role ranges from $74,000 to $85,000 AUD English Language Proficiency: An IELTS score of 5.0 in each section is required.
