Lift Mechanic Job Responsibilities: Install, maintain, repair, and test various types of lifts and elevators Perform routine inspections to ensure lift safety and functionality Troubleshoot issues and accurately diagnose problems with lift components Follow safety protocols and regulations while working on lifts Interact with customers to understand and address their lift concerns Essential Qualifications: Recent full-time experience in this line of work. (presently employed) Completion of a relevant lift mechanic apprenticeship or vocational training Valid elevator mechanic license or certification Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow technical manuals Desired Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a lift mechanic Experience with a variety of lift systems and brands Knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems related to lifts Ability to work independently and as part of a team Salary & Benefits: The annual salary for this full-time position ranges from $74,000 to $85,000.
