Practical, Varied and Technical : From calibrating field sensors to troubleshooting data errors and cabling faults, no two days are the same. Autonomy and Ownership : Take the lead on field tasks, work closely with internal teams and ensure the client’s high standards are delivered every time. Client Facing Tech Role : Work directly with clients to solve problems, provide training and keep mission critical data flowing. What You’ll Be Doing: Install, configure and maintain environmental monitoring systems at various client locations Conduct regular calibration, maintenance and performance checks Troubleshoot electrical or data transmission issues onsite Collect and validate environmental data in line with regulatory standards Submit reports and complete documentation after each visit Deliver training and user support to clients Maintain strong compliance with safety, quality and environmental protocols Communicate project updates to internal teams and help refine integration with the client’s broader systems About You: Certificate or Diploma in Electronics, Instrumentation, Communications or a related field Experience working with instrumentation, sensors, cabling or environmental monitoring systems You'll be comfortable working alone and using your own initiative to plan and complete jobs High attention to detail and a strong problem-solving mindset Comfortable working independently on field-based tasks Excellent communication and client facing skills Current Driver’s Licence and full working rights in Australia Willing to travel for fieldwork and occasionally stay away overnight Bonus if you’ve worked with environmental data platforms or remote telemetry systems This isn’t just a job… It’s a chance to power smarter decisions Whether it’s mining, energy or government projects, our client’s tech helps organisations measure what matters.
