About the role As the Educational Leader in our not-for-profit Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) service, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping high-quality programs that inspire children’s learning and wellbeing. Our OSHC offers before and after school care as well as vacation care. Located in Berowra Heights on the beautiful grounds of St Bernard’s primary school. Location: Berowra Heights NSW Employed: Permanent part time Days: Monday to Friday Hours: 7am to 10am and 2:00pm to 6pm (35 hours per week) You will bring with you: Understanding and experience with My Time, Our Place Framework Assisting the Coordinator to plan, implement and evaluate programs Stepping up as Responsible Person when required School pick up and drop offs Organising breakfast and afternoon tea Ensuring a welcoming, safe, hygienic environment, reflective of best practices Creating a fun and engaging environment through play experiences Developing positive and supportive relationships with children and families Ability to form collaborative and positive relationship with colleagues To be successful in this role you will need: Experience working with school aged children Relevant Child Care qualifications (Cert IV in Out of School Hours Care or Diploma) or working towards desirable Current and valid Working With Children Check clearance Completed or willing to complete Safe Food Handling training First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain one before starting Completion of Identify & Report Children and Young People at Risk (CHCPRT025) or equivalent Why Join CatholicCare?
