We’re on the lookout for Disability Support Workers to join a small, friendly care team supporting a client living with a spinal cord injury in their own home. This is a hands-on role providing 2:1 support in the mornings and evenings — perfect for someone who loves helping others start and finish their day feeling comfortable, confident, and cared for. Shifts Available We have a range of shift options, so you can choose what suits you best: Mornings: 7:00am – 9:00am or 7:00am – 10:00am Evenings: 8:00pm – 10:00pm You can work mornings only, evenings only, or a combination of both — ideal for fitting around study, family, or another job. What You’ll Be Doing Providing full personal care, including showering, grooming, and toileting Bowel care (training provided if needed) Manual handling and hoist transfers Medication support Light domestic assistance and general daily living supports Helping maintain comfort, dignity, and independence About You You’re caring, reliable, and enjoy being part of a supportive team environment. You’re confident providing personal care, take pride in your work, and have a great sense of humour and respect for the people you support.
