Field Supervisor - NBN Projects (Multiple Locations) We are seeking for our client experienced Field Supervisors to support complex remediation works across the NBN Unify/Field Module Project. In this hands-on leadership role, you will manage field contractors, oversee day-to-day operations, and ensure all work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to NBN standards. This is a newly created temporary contract with the possibility of extension. Contract Role | $45-$50/hr Vehicle Laptop Locations: Gold Coast / Brisbane North & South | Sunshine Coast | Far North Queensland Contract Dates: 01/12/2025 - 29/05/2026 (Start ASAP) Hours: 38 hrs/week (7.6 hrs/day) Work Model: Mix of office and field work. Some travel required. Openings: 3 Key Responsibilities Crew Leadership & Field Supervision Lead and support field crews delivering electrical and telecommunications infrastructure works. Plan, prioritise, and supervise routine and non-routine high-risk maintenance and construction activities. Ensure all compliance, quality, and safety standards are consistently met. Compliance & Quality Management Ensure all work meets quality, environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements. Implement and enforce compliance systems including WHS and environmental obligations. Maintain high technical and safety standards at all times. Project & Resource Management Oversee day-to-day resource allocation and utilisation. Manage small projects from initiation to completion—cost, schedule, risk, and contractors. Maintain accurate project data in the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Liaise with clients regarding work scope, timing, and progress. Communication & Stakeholder Engagement Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Provide clear verbal, written, and digital reporting on project progress, risks, and issues to project managers and planners. Someone who works well with contractors, communicates confidently, and excels at planning and time management. Mandatory Requirements (Non-Negotiable) Previous experience working on NBN projects. Proven experience managing contractors in a field environment. Valid Driver's Licence. Police Check & Medical Check (or ability to obtain). Full working rights in Australia. Preferred Qualifications & Skills NBN-enabled qualifications. 2 years experience in field supervision, telecommunications, or civil/electrical works. Experience with Unify Simplex and Complex works.
