Location: Darwin, NT (Hybrid/Remote considered; occasional NT travel required) Contract Duration: 6 months Clearance: National Police Clearance and PF166 required About the Role The Northern Territory Police Force (NTPF) Digital Transformation Program aims to enhance policing and community safety through technology-enabled change. As Project Manager, you will lead, coordinate, and deliver assigned projects, ensuring successful implementation and adoption of new systems, processes, and tools. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership and oversight for project delivery aligned with NTPF objectives. Drive adoption and integration of new capabilities into operational environments. Apply project management methodologies for planning, control, and delivery. Manage risks, issues, and governance to ensure compliance and alignment. Monitor and report on outcomes to ensure benefits are realised. Lead change management, training, and communication initiatives. Analyse operational, legislative, and regulatory requirements. Communicate complex information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences. Advise senior management on progress, risks, and performance. Contribute to broader Digital Transformation Program initiatives. Requirements Essential Skills & Experience Minimum 5 years’ experience delivering projects involving organisational or technology-enabled change. Strong knowledge of planning, coordination, risk, and governance disciplines. Proven ability to manage people and resources in complex environments. Experience in change management, training, and user engagement. High-level interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to analyse operational and regulatory requirements. Desirable Skills Experience in large, complex, or high-profile projects. Familiarity with policing, public safety, or government operations. Understanding of IT Service Management or digital transformation frameworks. Knowledge of system design, integration, or data interfaces. Proficiency in project tools (Microsoft 365, Teams, Jira).
