Contribute to a proactive safety culture within the team, and have a strong commitment to safe working practices. Extract and transport of Historic core from coreyards. Prepare core for processing, cutting and sampling. Support geological staff with PXRF, SG, Mag Sus work. Dispatch samples in a timely manner and liaise with laboratory. Quality control of DD core, correction of errors in core presentation and block spacing, meter marking of core, core cutting and core photography. Report any issues with vehicle and equipment maintenance. Guide new Field Assistants. Conduct general housekeeping within all work areas. Liaise with Contractors and Stakeholder. WHAT DO I NEED Current “C” Class Western Australian driver’s licence (essential) Forklift Licence (desirable) Advanced 4WD Training (desirable) Senior First Aid Certificate (desirable) Solid computer skills & literacy, particularly across the MS Office suite. Perform basic maintenance of field equipment. Proficient in all sampling procedures and sample dispatch protocols, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. Skilled in surveying protocols. Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks. A can-do, team-oriented attitude. Solid problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and be adaptable. Desire to maintain a proactive safe working environment.
