As a Senior Analyst Developer in End User Experience , you will leverage your outstanding communication skills to coordinate effectively across teams. You will be highly motivated to work autonomously and demonstrate initiative to deliver exceptional outcomes for stakeholders. In addition to strong communication and coordination abilities, you will be responsible for supporting and enhancing the Atlassian platform at the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA), ensuring it meets business needs for collaboration, workflow automation, and integration. This role involves developing custom solutions, managing configurations, and implementing best practices across Jira, Confluence, and related tools. The position also requires working closely with stakeholders to deliver scalable and secure solutions that align with RBA’s technology standards. About the role Platform Development & Customization Design, develop, and maintain custom workflows, dashboards, and reports in Jira and Confluence. Implement automation using ScriptRunner, Groovy, or REST APIs. Develop and maintain custom plugins or add-ons for Atlassian products. Integration & Automation Integrate Atlassian tools with other enterprise systems (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, ServiceNow, Microsoft Teams). Build and maintain REST API integrations for data exchange and automation. Administration & Governance Manage Atlassian environments including user permissions, security, and performance tuning. Perform upgrades, patches, and configuration changes. Ensure compliance with RBA security and governance standards. Collaboration & Support Partner with business units to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Atlassian-related issues. Document configurations, processes, and customizations. About you 5-7 years' experience in the information technology industry, has worked on multiple large-scale upgrade and transformation projects. Extensive communication skills which helped maintain strong customer relationships from people of various organisational and cultural backgrounds. Provided comprehensive project and operational support, including tracking project milestones and deliverables. Ability to analyse, recommend, implement, and coordinate changes and updates to software Exposure to conducting and coordinating software and system upgrades liaising with internal IT teams Scripting, automation, infrastructure knowledge (such as PowerShell, JS) Strong stakeholder management experience to ensure that high quality customer service is delivered Required Skills & Qualifications Proven experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket). Strong scripting skills (Groovy, Python, or similar). Experience with REST APIs and webhooks. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices. Knowledge of Linux environments and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL). Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred Skills Experience with Atlassian Cloud and Data Center deployments. Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bamboo). Exposure to other collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Power Automate . Atlassian certifications (ACP-600, ACP-610, etc.).
