About the Role As a Community Support Worker, you’ll provide personalised care and support tailored to each client’s needs and goals. You’ll play a key role in helping residents live independently, enjoy their community, and thrive in their daily lives. What you’ll be doing: Providing personalised care and support based on individual needs and goals Assisting with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks Facilitating community participation and social engagement through recreational and leisure activities Advocating for clients’ rights and ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times Maintaining accurate records and documentation in line with organisational policies Collaborating with team members and external stakeholders to deliver coordinated care What We’re Looking For Previous experience in a community support or disability service role A genuine passion for empowering individuals with disability and promoting independence Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and trust Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills for handling challenging situations Commitment to person-centred care and the NDIS Relevant qualifications (Certificate III or IV in Individual Support/Disability) Current First Aid certificate and valid driver’s licence What’s on Offer Morning shifts (done by 10am if you like!) and a weekly sleepover shift Work in a well-supported environment with ongoing training The chance to build long-term, meaningful connections with residents Salary packaging to boost your take-home pay Access to Fitness Passport Paid training & development pathways Supportive, friendly team culture Work you’ll genuinely feel proud of About You Confident with medication administration Empathetic, patient, and able to build trust over time Comfortable supporting restrictive practices Strong communication and time-management skills Confident driver (12-seater van experience a bonus!)
